Making Waves

Been thinking a lot lately about the gap between the rhetoric of the institution where I work and its practices. That caused me to think in general about the nature of hypocrisy writ large. How it is that individuals, groups, and institutions can publicly appear so sincere about being committed to certain principles and desirous of certain outcomes and yet act in ways totally contrary to those objectives. Thus my conclusion. *He or she who is determined to make no waves will not move the waters.* If you take a posture that you will do nothing that will create resistance, then you will do nothing, because any act under the cosmic law will generate a reaction.
