Afrikan people are told that their alternatives are either walking around with signs begging the system OR launching vain attacks of violence against it, Neither will be effective. The appropriate response to power, just or unjust, is the cultivation of your own power in the form of social, economic, and political development, agenda setting, and leadership. In the absence of that, all other measures are either symbolic or foolish or both. For example, say you are miseducated. Do you stand outside and picket the school or firebomb it? My response is that if you do either or think doing either is going to improve your intellectual position, you are more miseducated than you realize. Why not build your own school?
