I don’t think we currently have leaders. I do not consider employees and agents of the oppressive system my leaders but merely talking heads. There is an inherent contradiction and hypocrisy in the idea that anyone appointed by other than the people could be described as “leading” anything. It is the myth that such people are in fact “our” leaders that is part and parcel of the social psychology of our collective oppression. He who pays the piper calls the tune and the piper shall ever be beholden to them. The best you can do if you are not the payer is go along with the tune, which we tend to do or stop listening, which I would recommend, since the tune is usually the same one that the snake charmer uses to get the snake to do his bidding.
