The Attack on Real Research

I don’t do “scholarship by video.” While video can and should be used legitimately in a real academic setting, outside of that I think the popular obsession with “research”” being popularly re-defined as Google or Wikipedia surfing, Facebook or Instagram trolling, or YouTube video “virality” and similar things is largely an impediment to real learning. Most of that content is created either by one sided ideological organizations that have a present position they want to advocate,  or capitalist entities that ultimately seek profit rather than education. I am a researcher and a real professor not a YouTube scholar.
