Race as a concept was NEVER legitimately grounded in real scientific biology or genetics. It was a concept developed to justify a particularly exploitive system of unequal distribution of power and resources among human beings. It was from its inception, once it was no longer a proper synonym for the term species, a term that would be about social ideology rather than truth. And the proof is that this civilization has paradoxically not become less “racist’ as the level of educational attainment or the degree of dissemination and availability of information about this truth has increased. It could be argued, precisely the opposite. The term has gained even greater ideological force because of its centrality to the discourse of social power.
